An opportunity exists for a Clinical Perfusion Scientist to work at Galway University Hospital, Ireland.  

Our Clinical Perfusion Science Department is located in the Galway University Hospital and currently provides perfusion services for approximately300 cases per year.  The standard working week is 35 hours.

The Perfusionist Staff Grade offers a comprehensive specialist clinical and technical perfusion service during both routine and emergency procedures on a 24/7 basis,as a vital member of the multi-disciplinary team during cardiac surgery. He/she will be expected to act autonomously within the hospital environment (ward or theatres).

Candidates MUST: -

(i)  Be accredited by the College of Clinical Perfusion of Great Britain and Ireland‍

‍or

(ii)         possess an equivalent qualification 

                                                         AND 

(iii)       be registered with the College of Clinical Perfusionists of Great Britain and Ireland as a practising Clinical Perfusionist
