HCU has tested positive for mycobacterium chimaera. HCU is tested monthly and since purchase as new in 2018, this is first positive for chimaera.

Deep-cleaned and quarantined, after 3 consecutive months of negativeresults HCU will be returned to 'active' duty. Should positive result forchimaera from future sampling be determined, HCU will likely be condemned.
